what cars will a stock a4 2.8 beat off the line

 

stock 1.8t's, bone stock b16's bone stock neons(non srt-4's),bone stock cavaliers....... there are alot, but are you quattro or frontrac?


and why would you get a 2.8........ 2.8 + heavy car = slow

the 2.8 has 190ish bhp

true it is heavier/slower but i bought it for a steal, and its a hell of a step up from my old jetta.

 

ok, if you "stole" it, turn around and sell it and make a profit....... and buy a 1.8t or 2.0t....... endless possibilities for mods, just tunning a turbo motor will make you faster than a 2.8, depending on drivers......

or you can s/c your 2.8 and beat some faster cars, but then you have topped out your power and could still be pwned by a 1.8 motor

 

i couldnt bring myself to sell it, i was thinking about buying a pes supercharger because that seems like the best mod on the market for it

 

first question, do you have a 12v or a 30v?

 

like i said, you will top out with a s/c....... and if i went bt i could still beat your s/c'ed 2.8

you could get custom manifolds and do a turbo kit..... but that is $'s, cause you would have to get a standalone to go with the turbo(s)

 

s/c with alot of supporting mods and your around 300 bhp, throw in a 75 wet shot of no2 and youll rape some sti's

 

but you are still way more limited with that than a 1.8 ever would be

bt a 1.8 and you could be around 500 bhp, with supporting mods and then a 75 wetshot..... and you will rape more than sti's
