Default what to do first?

im planning to get the GIAC turbo chip for my 2000 1.8T and i was wondering if it would be better if i got a blowoff and exhaust system before doing so. Please advise with some good brands and prices if possible, i just got this car pretty recently and need to know wussup.

no. blowoff valves are bad for audis.....search the forums

Chip and 710N diverter valve is best bang for your buck.

710N is the stock DV off the TT and it will do fine with your added boost from the chip, the stock DV would leak the increase in boost presure and you woulnd't see that much of a gain from the chip untill you installed a DV that wouldn't leak the boost...like the 710N

you would be okay to go with the 710N, but you could also check into an billet aluminum DV from Bailey or Forge.
