This is what happens when it snows!!! BROKEN FUEL LINES!!!! PICS!
This time it didn't turn out so good... And it didn't evolve drifting.
Downhill+All Season Tires+Overcorrecting a little+Lots of snow = Car in ditch with fuel lines ripped apart and car no longer running.
So yes today was a bitter sweet day. It stated off with me FINALLY getting my bumper back on my car from installing my intercooler. I was all happy so a friend and I went out for a little test drive just to make sure everything was good and tight. While we were going down a hill we hit the brakes and the car went sideways (it all happened so fast. I didn't even know what was going on.) As the car started to go one way I over corrected a little bit and it spun around the other way and over the curb we went into a ditch. Once we stopped the engine had died so I tried starting it again and it wouldn't fire. It would turn over but it wouldn't start. We got out and smelled gas. I opened my hood and had my friend watch my fuel pressure gauge as I tried to start it and it wasn't getting any fuel. I looked under my car to see the 2 small and 1 large fuel line all mangeled. They were bent all up and one of them had come out of the rubber line that came from the tank. I put it back together (luckily I had my tools with me just incase my bumper was loose or something else came off) so it would hold on. Then we started it up and it ran for about 5 sec and then died again. We looked under the car again and found that there was more gas leaking slowly. I had my friend try and start the car and thats when I realized I wasn't going anywhere. There was a small hole right were one of the lines was bent badly and it was spraying fuel everywhere. Oh and it was 24 degrees outside and snowing like a mother!
We found someone to pull us out of the ditch then I was going to call AAA to have them tow me back home when I realized that when I had changed my pants I had left my wallet in the other ones and didn't have my AAA card with me (or my license for that matter). SO I had to call another friend to come get us and take me back to my house and get my wallet. Then we drove my dads SUV back to my car and waited for the tow truck to come. My car is now in my garage with 3 broken fuel lines and not running at all.
Anyone have any idea how much those are and how hard they are to replace?
Here are pics of the car in the ditch and also my FMIC with the bumper on:

Here are the fuel lines. Sorry for the crappy pic. I will try and get some better ones tomorrow.

Oh and I somehow managed to pull this all off WITHOUT EVEN SCRATCHING MY WHEELS!!!!! That is impressive I must say. LOL

daym dude. well fuel lines are easy. they're basically like brake lines. you just need a pipe bender. sumthing like that and a few wrenches. autozone has a cheap one. i hope shouldn't take you very long since you have acess to a lift. good luck man

o well in that case just put your car on jackstands and take out the old lines and bend the new ones to look like the old ones and u'll be all set. check out the brake lines, driveshaft and exhuast while your down there.
THis might help, part numbers in blue under the id#

no idea. But the dotted hoses are all rubber. You can go to the parts store and get the same diam fuel hose. The dealer will sell you the prebent hose, but you can always just ziptie the flexable rubber hose to the stainless lines. Just cut a peice and bring it in with you. If you need anything else, those are the dealer part numbers above. Just call and ask.
