It's an Anniversary Edition S4. Costs about 10k more than a regular S4, and is no different except for the interior, some exterior trim and decals and the fact that they only made 250 of them.

There was one of those at the dealer when I picked up my new A4. Sales guy told me that besides the body work, the Quattro has been given a rear-wheel bias...same as the RS4. While most of everything is cosmetic, the change in the powertrain would make for a different driving experience...I, for one, would welcome a more rear-wheel bias. Less understeer.

man, if it's true that it's rear wheel biased, i definitely think this is worth a second look.. that changes handling dramatically!.. makes it rare!
and sure it's 10k more than a standard S4... but also 15k less than the upcoming rs4..
the front bumper looks different than the regular s4 too.. more of an rs4 type look. [8D]
i think it's a cool option ... better that it's available than not imo.

You're buying the rarity factor... Just as a 2002 BNR34 Nür edition costs MUCH more than a regular 2002 BNR34, or even an N1. But seeming as Nissan only produced 2,000 Nür units from the factory, you're buying the rarity factor... Not to mention the 560bhp as well, but still. 
Also, just like the NISMO Z-Tune BNR34 that NISMO just released... Under 20 made I believe, at a standing price of over $100,000. Why? Because you're buying the rarity factor.
Honestly, if I have the extra dough, I go for the special edition if at all possible. Even if it is an extra $10,000.
