They are correct, but the sticking is not a mere cause of the construction (depending on the model of the Bailey). It is also because certain Baily valve models are NOT maintenance free. It has to be cleaned lubricated fairly frequently. People tend to forget this and complain the valve is sticking.

Holy crap! I just took the car for a run, the 1st time since replacing the BOV with a DV. This sucker has some balls now. I got up to 100 and it was *still* pulling pretty hard (and no annoying sounds after shifts!!), normally it would just crawl from 75-100mph. I'm thinking the car may have been chipped at some point and if it hasnt been, damn I'll have some fun when it does get done *grin*. I'll have to yank the ECU on the weekend and have a peek inside. |
