I have a 02 A4 1.8T...I am giving my car an oil change this weekend....i bought da oil filter from audi already its a pretty big oil filter...im thinking of using Castrol Syntec 5w-30...audi uses this type of oil at da dealership...u guys recommend any other brand of oil??? also i am thinking of buying a cold air intake...can u guys recommend me a good cold air intake???

That oil is ok,
I would use syn 0w40 mobile one, or a syn 5w40 oil that is on audi's list of recommended fluids.

I have always used mobil one on my b5 my b6 im gonna start using mobil one maybe royal purple or amsoil im not sure yet, im gonna try a few of them. As far as intakes go, The Carbino intakes are pretty well designed but are like ~$350

Go on Ebay and get a cheap intake, no need to spend 350 on intake and you going to need a heat sheild, for the Turbo you need to run 0w40 for the cold starts with turbo. do a search see what people recommend, there is limitless advice on this forum for out cars jsut look, itll sacre you

No, waste of time/money unless you like paying a lot of money for a little sound.
Get a drop in K&N panel filter, do not over oil. That will improve performance, rather than degrade it, for around $50.

Mobil One is the way to go. Synthetic is the best oil around and Mobil One is the first brand to make Synthetic oil so I am sure by now they have the whole Synthetic thing mastered.

just yesterday i changed the oil in my car but,i also used the BG oil flush machine and flushed da engine out...
