what springs for my setup?
I have a 2000 b5 a4, and was looking into getting the s4 rims like these.
http://bellsouthpwp.net/b/a/bawla47/403194_7_full.jpg my question is, whats are some good springs/shocks to lower my car, and give the best stance. I was looking into neuspeed/bilstein springs and shocks. would i have to trim the springs a bit? Thanks in advance! |
RE: what springs for my setup?
trim the springs?
If you go for a shock/spring combo and get the right ones for your car there is no trimming. Yo install and enjoy. Depends on how low you want to go. I am on Bilstein Sport shocks and Neuspeed race springs. 1 Finger Gap. I had to roll my fenders this evening, mainly cuz I have 35 offset wheels and 235 tires. But the lower you go the more chance of rubbing. |

RE: what springs for my setup?
Dont cut your springs. if i can get 25 different people with the B5 A4 1.8t together i can get Tein to make us racing springs that will lower the car 1/2" to 3/4" and give you much more feel for the road. but i need 25 people with copies of there titles to fax to them. this is what they want oh yeah and all 25 have to be willing to purchase this item

Isn't Tein a JDM product line?
