Default Wheel decision

I posted this in the "Exterior" forums and was told to ask it here again. I used the search and found a lot of pictures of wheels, but not quite what i was looking for. I recently bought a 2002 A4 1.8T and am looking to get some wheels. I was wondering if I could get some input on what looks good and what size I should get. I think I want to get black rims with a polished lip, but and inputs are welcome. The lowest in size I will go is 18". Are 19's too big? Thank you all in advance.

19's are perfect for the B6. Check out tirerack for the style you're looking for. Also check out the classifieds her and on other forums. There are a ton of great deals on used wheels.

Ahhh I just posted a thread in off-topic called "sweet deal on wheels" or something to that effect... too lazy to link to it. No wait, it's still open in my browser... :P Anyhow, 19" BBS CH's with tires for 1100 bucks... prolly sold, but they look killer on B6's.

Do you have sport pkg?

thanks for all the information guys, still lookin at some stuff, so keep the ideas coming. Next, do 19's lower the quality of the ride a ton? I'm not too worried about it but i'm just wondering. Also, are tires for 19's incredibly expensive?

headshok...idk how to tell if i have the sport package on a B6 or not, i know the B5 had red springs or something, how do i tell on mine?

19's don't affect the ride quality that much at all, we just put 19" BBS CH's on my dads car... his is an 02 with sport pkg, and he is happy with the ride (and was willing to sell the 19's if he found the ride too harsh), the only thing he noticed was that the steering felt a little heavier... but I actually LIKE that it feels heavier.

Anyhow, if you're 02 has sport, it'll have the 17" 5 spoke wheels. My dad didn't even lower his car, and it looks alright with 19's. It could stand to go a little lower... but it doesn't look bad, which says a lot for how low the 2002 sport's are.
