Default wheel problems.. bent a-arm??

Guys I turned to sharp in the rain today and went right over the curb. I thought it would have been fine. I didn't purpously slide into the curb it was an accident thats why im so pissed. Well As i hit the curb with my right front wheel i must of bent a control arm or tie rod because my whole weel is compressed back touching the fender. I drove home - about 2 blocks and parked it on my street. I could hear the wheel rubbing against my fender.

How much do you guys estimate damage costs? Did this happen to anyone before.

There must have been sombody that this happend too because i dind't even hit the curb that hard.. I did hit it going a little sideways..

Other than that theres no body damage at all.

I was just so pissed when i saw that because nothing really bad happened i just accidently swerved into a curb. I was probably going 10 - 15 mph when this happened.

Okay well.. They called and i was thinking that they would say 3k and 3 weeks.. but they said its the control arms and wheel .. for 1200 bucks.. I was thinking that for only the control arms and wheel that that was a lot. I ended up having them putting the spare tire on and put the dented one in the trunk. THey said okay for 800 bucks. Then i thought that they were selling a rim for 400 bucks.. thats a total rip-off!!!! I could buy 4 rims for 600 bucks lol.

But yeah an important life lesson is right!
