Default wheel size

im on the market for new wheels and i was wondering which size to go with? 17 X 7.5 or 18 X 8.5? if it comes down to just looks i would take the 18's but ive heard sometimes the size of the rim can really throw off things, ie.. speedometer, gas mileage, suspension. any thoughts?

Larger wheels can reduce acceleration times, but the difference between 17 and 18 is probably insignificant. Go 18s.

yea go 18s. and nothing will be thrown off, this only happens when you change the outside diameter of the tire. like when you lift a truck and get bigger tires, you get worse gas mileage, harsher ride, messed up speedometer, and if too big you can break axles and cv joints.

heres a pic of my beauty with 18s by 8.5 to convince you to get some for yourself

of course it is dropped, if you don't do that important step your car will look like a 4X4.
