I'm thinking of getting the Pirelli PZero Nero M+S Tire in 235/40-18 to fit the ASA AR1 18 X 8 wheel. I was wondering if the tire would offer good performance in rain and snow as well as dry conditions. Tirerack gives the tire a good rating, and I was wondering if people who have these tires agree. just judgeing by what I saw on tire rack I think you could get a better tire. I meen nothing was above an 8.9 and that was dry. A question for you, I am assuming that you have no need for these to work in icey or snow conditions. other than that, There are a bunch of tires and alot of diff opinions about them, I would just look into a few more options.

 

Buy the AVON Tech M550 A/S from tire rack... lots of people here have them, and everybody loves them. Great price, too.

I looked at the Avon tires and they look awesome! The only problem is that they don't make them in a 235/40-18 size. This is tirerack's recommended size for the 18 X 8 wheel, but I know some people who have 225/45-18 tires for the 18 X 8 wheel. Would this size work? Also, tirerack says that the Avon tire handles well in the ice and snow, but I've heard that it doesn't. If the tire is good in the snow and fits my wheel, I'm sold. Thanks for your help.
