Our local Audi chapter is starting to get things in gear for the Formula 1 Grand Prix [June 17-19]. We had a GTG last year with about 50 people show up, around 35 cars. Thats a lot for Indy. Some came from as far away as Alberta Canada (in a new red S4).

If you're going to be going to the race let me know. Lots of cool stuff is being planned for the club that weekend.
VIP corral parking raceday (on the actual Indy500 track), police escorted caravan to the Track from the Indy zoo that morning, GTG the night before hand... Possible Tech session at Tom Woods dealership with access to lifts and garage bay (this is still in discussion).

I will move this post to regional forum later, but just wanted to put it here to get traffic first. We are trying to get some idea as to how many peopl are gonna show. We did not expect so many last year. They came in droves...

its the only Formula1 race held in the US (Canada has 2... Montreal and Vancouver)

Sunday - Police escort to the track for Corral parking permits from the Zoo (contact local club member to learn more).


I am really tring for the Friday night thing but I might have a small Karting Enduro lined up also, not sure which will happen.
