WINDOW ISSUE
I just got my front passenger side window replaced because it was broken.. Now when i open and close the window its a tad bit slower. I dont mind that as much as the fact when i close the window it closes all the way and then it automatically goes down like 2 inches. i have to hit the switch again right when its in the closed position for it not go down. any one know how i can fix this problem? if not im going back to glass place and complain..

RE: WINDOW ISSUE
Yeah this happened to me when someone broke the window on my accord. They might have damaged the motor somehow or there might be some glass stuck in the door that you don't know about. The place I went to didn't really clean the glass out completely.

RE: WINDOW ISSUE
There is something causing the window to experience too much resistance as it moves. Hence, the slow movement. Then when it gets to the top of its travel, there is even more resistance - enough to cause the window to think there is an object in its travel.
Most likely, it's the alignment. Chances are, the motor is fine - it's not likely a motor becomes damaged easily. |
RE: WINDOW ISSUE
i would think if the motor would be damaged i wouldnt be able to really operate the window.. but i already went by the place and told them they said just to bring it in tomorrow.

RE: WINDOW ISSUE
press the window button and keep it pressed in till its closed then do the same to open it this resets the system, if that doesnt work it needs to be synchronized with the remote key fob
