Driving to school to school today truck pulled out infront of my spitting gravel in the air i got away from teh majority of the rocks but one managed to hit my driver side of my windshield anyone know the aproximate price to replace a windshield?

 

is it that bad? almost every car i've ever had has had little cracks in the windshield. you can get some stop crack or whatever it's called so that it doesn't get worse as you drive over bumps. i'd say it would cost a ridiculous amount to replace your windshield.

 

i kwow its not bad and etermely small nick too.. it just pisses me off it seems to happen that everythign always goes wrong when im driving my a4... used to beat the **** outta my volvo 740 and nothing bad ever happened...Im so careful with my a4 too

 

Unfortunately, this might be just one of those little things that you have to live with unless you want to spend tons of potential upgrade money on a new windshield.

 

ya i know i figured it was gonna be mad expensive...just in the past couple of weeks everythign seemed to go wrong...like also the rust i found under my passenger door.. now the black lower connected to it is comming off because the clips rusted off...

You may also want to ask about repair. Small chips and such can sometimes be repaired for less than the cost of a new windsheild.

 

I just had mine replaced 2 days ago. Cost me $250 for Sekurit glass from i think the company is saint gobain or some ****. Works for me and looks clean.

 

Damn I got mine done a month or so ago and it was like $150 which surprised me
