Default Winter is comming: are you prepared ?

To all the Audi owners out there, how do you prepare your audi's for the winter ?

Its has rained a few times, and snowed (wet snow... like cold rain) and November is almost here and i started with a few things to get my audi ready for winter. This will be the first winter with it and im super excited.

I just did a whole write up on installing mud flaps so those will help out a lot this winter with the heavy snow and all.

And i also put in my A4 Rubber floor mats. That should help with the dirt and snow and so forth so it wont harm my carpet.

What does everyone else do ?

yea those mats really save the carpets. I'm pretty sure the audi unibody is galvanized steel so I shouldnt expect rust any time soon.

Winter tires.

Make sure that the windshield washer fluid is winter type with methanol in it so it doesn't freeze.

Check your battery electrolyte level and top up with distilled water.

Ooh, nice floor mats... I should get some before the snow flies. This will be my first winter with an Audi. Mine came with snows so I bought all-seasons to use in the summer. The snows will go back on sometime in November.

I really like the grey interior in your car too.
