its a trim kit. they are adhesive backed pieces of material that were put over the stock pieces. And that material is not cf it is some silver material. I believ to get it off you would have to pull the oem pieces off and pretty much go throught the same steps as debadging , no fun if you want a different lok when your done with that try this. they overlay the whole piece http://www.exoticwooddash.com/coating.asp

debadgine usualy involves re-painting the area right ? or can I do this without needing to ?
please can you link me to any tutorials that might help ?
