Thats good news prob not the head gasket. Top back off with coolant with car in well lit garage jack up,safest bet is rampsso u can slide under while bein able 2 look under the hood 2 and turn the car on. For gods sake in Neutral or park with the E-brake on. Now just look where the leak is comin from.

sounds like a timing/spark related issue...

as for coolant, hopefully yours is pink...the green stuff works, but it tends to cause leaks in the long run...

listen to bob, find where the leak is coming from

definately pull codes...

I would simply have it towed to your nearest trusted euro shop, it's not worth chancing it and ending up with a bigger problem than you already have

gl!

The bogging acompianed by a subaru sound is either getting not enough fuel or the right amount/ 2 much fuel and not being able to burn. IF it was your headgasket it would sound like that could cause both problems, since the coolant is pissing outta the engine to the outside it's prob not it. Pull the codes, could be somethin as simple as a coilpack, clogged injector, bag plugs. Did u pull ur plugs and check em for even wear/burn/coloration? The coil on my bike passed the Haynes manual check and all. Pulled the plugs off the 2 wires running from the cylinder and it was black. The plugs are one of the best ways of seein if your properly combusting or not and is it due 2 rich/lean in each cylinder with next 2 no tools. Pull the plugs, pull the codes, try seafoaming a vacuam line if nothin showin on the codes. Ohh and if you didn't fully flush your audi coolant and just pulled a lower radiator hose, drained the radiator and topped off you mixed the fluid and coulda fubbared somethin. Wheres your temp gauge sit when the car is up 2 temp just cruisin?

temp guage is fine. when idle or when driving. this weekend i will really get to get a good look at it. but my CEl is not flashing. however it has been constantly on since i put on the Test pipe. I figured it was just an o2 sensor fault. but no autozone around here. and kragen or napa wont test. guess i get to buy an OBD II. and the flubbering of the car when under a load, or WOT makes me think it is getting to much fuel. there is no backfiring, but i can smell something out of the exhaust that isnt right. unburned fuel maybe i dont know. but this is getting annoying. and i do not have the $$$ to spend on pricy fixes right now.... i have not inspected the plugs. will do that. so frustrating just looking at my car sitting there while i am driving a pos ranger for work[:@]...... i appreciate your help. any suggestions are welcome

OK. i decided to just pop the hood the in line check valve i ghetto repaired using electrical tape was lookin bleak and sorta collapsed.....so i pulled it of to check er out. there is NO valve. it just looks like a fitting. the whole gate is missing. there might as well just be a straight peice of vac line in there......UGH! what would that screw up... pull codes i know i know. but i cant until the OBD comes in. ordered it yesterday. would that make my car sound like it is. when i pull the valve (or what left of it ) completely out the car sputters and barely runs. when i put it back in the car idles fine. but when revved up coughs hard. check valve just ordered from ecs. but im scared it wont fix it. any idea????
