Hello Everyone,

I have a 2014 Audi A5 with approx 60,000 on it. The motor began running rough a few nights ago. I had the car towed home and towed
to a Mechanic. I called the company and was told one of the cylinders has zero compassion and the motor needs to be replaced. With a
301 engine code.

Any advice regarding this would be helpful.........

Update - it appears the tension problem relative to the timing chain was the cause of cylinder (1) complete failure. Keep in mind, the 55,000 service was recently completed. After some research the lawsuit regarding this problem doesn’t cover 2014 Model A5. I called Audi USA, it doesn’t appear there’s any support there. - To repair all 4 cylinders while the motor is disassembled. $ 6500 in repair cost.
