my 2010 a5 with a 6hp28 transmission currently has pentosin atf1 LV (red color). i have on hand pentosin atf1 (amber color), am thinking about a transmission service.


can the two fluids work in the transmission?

I don't know how you got ATF1 LV in your transmission in the first place, but that formulation does not carry a VW/Audi/ZF qualification for your transmission. I wouldn't be using ATF1 LV in that transmission.

If I'm not mistaken, you need lifeguard 6 or G060162A2. I've had good experience with Valvoline Maxlife. LiquiMoly and Redline also have good reputations.
