Can you tell me more about 2.0t upgrades? (Is there a sticky?)
 

Hey guys,

As you can see from my sig, I'm a B5'er, but a good friend just bought his first Audi - the A5 2.0t.

He already put wheels on it and he has a bad ass German dual exhaust setup (with valance) he's about to put on it, but I was hoping there would be an "upgrades/mods" sticky for A5 newbies.

I can always give him the list of mods I've done to my car, but i thought it would be best to talk to you guys first.

hi, im sure he can find something to do with a tune. i heard the integrated engineering one is really good. if you do that tune lets say stage 2 and supporting mods (Downpipe, intercooler and short ram intake) that could give you a significant bump in power. after that if you want even more id say you could either take the chance and go with the K04 stage 3 tune without forged interiors. i know some people run it without problem but i personally would not unless you have no problem swapping another 2.0t if it breaks. Then once thats done you can run a water methanol kit for a 50-60 hp more for about 400-500$. other than that i dont know really.
