*2006 A6 Quattro Wagon / Gas Pedal Question*
 

Hey Everyone!

I have a 2006 A6 wagon AWD. I had the car scanned and it's saying that I need a new gas pedal sensor.

Part# 4F1723523B

My question is...

Can I purchase a USED part and have it paired with the car? OR do I HAVE TO purchase a NEW part?

I've heard that you can only pair the pedal sensor ONCE and that a USED part that's been paired already, won't work.

The cheapest I've found the part is $241.12.

Of course they are scattered all over the internet for around $50.

Any advice is appreciated.
