Hey i recently got a hold of an 01 4.2 with the sport package. I'm looking to put a set of or rims on it but the only ones i've seen seem kind of narrow. I was wondering if anyone knew how wide they are and whats the widest offset i could get without rubbing. All i know is that the stock tires are 255/40/17 and all the rims i looked at fit only 225's or 235's. I want to try and get another set of DeCorsa Fusions like i had on my 2.8 if i can find a set that fits.

 

I believe you can go quite wide, atleast a 25 et. Reason why I'm saying this is because I'm running 19x8.5 BBS ch's with a 35et and 10mm spacers in the front, and I have absolutely no problems at all with rubbing. Tires are 235/35/19's. These are my winters, for summers I have a set of iforged with 265/30/19 tires and these don't rub also. Good luck with the wheel and tire choice.
