Default 01 A6 4.2L J271 error code-Power supply relay for ECU problem Help Please !

Hello Audi Folks,

I had a rebuilt tranny put in my car in March and after this, my ESP and ABS light came on, the car started to act sluggish and slowed to a stop. I shut it off and then restarted it and it ran ok. Couple of times after, the car started kind of rough but seemed to run fine. I then parked it for about 2 months and when I went to start it again, the ESP and ABS light came on, as well check engine, and it would not start. My buddy has a computer to read the codes and cleared some of them and managed to start it, albeit very rough.
One of the codes that came up was 17925 Power Supply relay for ECU electrical malfunction ( J271 or J363)
Another code that appeared was a 17943 Camshaft timing bank short to ground (N208) intermittent.
I am hoping once we replace the power supply relay, it will clear the other code.
Does anyone know exactly where in the ECU module I would find the power supply relay and is it tough to get to on this A6 model ( as nothing has been easy on this car !!!) Has anyone else had this happen to them and what was the $$ for repair if I have to take it to a shop?

Thanks so much !
