Ok, I have done this a number of times before on other cars, but I am thinking the audi's going to the dealer for a silly sensor replacement. Before it goes in the shop, I just wanted to make sure I am not missing something obvious here. All you have to do is pull the plastic retainer clip then pull the sensor out of the socket right? I pulled the clip (which broke cause 1 side was stuck in there), but the sensor wont budge a bit. I yanked and twisted and pulled, but no movement (the plastic above the clip rotates in the base, but the base held down by the clip doesn't move at all. I fear that I will snap it off if I keep trying at it! Am i missing something obvious here? I also cannot seem to figure out how to get the wiring connector off. Its just so frustrating sending it in for something so trivial. I mean for crikey's sake, even http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2299786.phtml says its a 3 minute task to make the swap!
