Oooops! I just saw that in fact you have a 3.0 engine. You may be referring to the 2.8 chip from Abt; it gave about 15hp and most people felt it wasn't worth the money. I don't know of anyone with a chip for the 3.0 ecu. I think GIAC has one in the works, but has yet to release the version. Sorry. If you have or do hear of one, post it here with a link and I'll check it out for you.

EDIT: I just went to the Abt German web site and they have a 3.0 chip upgrade for the A4 (but the engine and ecu should be the same) to get the output up to 290hp. They list the part number as 8E2130300ASN/2EN. I don't know if it is US spec ready, but it's worth checking into.

I did contact ABT German website and GIAC and they don't have anything yet.
You did say something abut that chip for 2.8 (about 15hp) and that people say that it was worth it.
Do you have a website address for that chip?
Thanks again.
