Both of my rear tail lights on my 05 A6 have a horizontal crack in them. The dealer thinks someone backed into the car but I don't see any damage that would indicate that.. Anyone on this forum had the same issue with the tail light lens cracking? Seems like poor engineering.Thanks...

 

I have what I would describe as the appearance of hairline cracks or scratches in both rear lenses. I replaced one of the units about a year ago and the new unit has been fine with no scratches or cracks.
