'06 A6 Avant malfunctioning Drivers Window

Hello All - The drivers window went down as called for but will not raise. I've bench tested the window motor and it performs smoothly in both directions. The other three windows operate perfectly. The four switch cluster has been removed and examined. Both the express and incremental raise/lower features of the drivers window switch seem to also be normal.

There is plenty of info on the net about the older C5's window regulator difficulties but not so much about the newer door design in the C6.

Dealer visits are always a last resort action for me so any assistance would be greatly appreciated - Thank you.

Attached the motor pat of the regulator is the control module. Could well be that if the cables on the regulator are ok. Simple job to carry out. Just make sure any replacement you get has the exact same p/n. I had a similar issue and got the same p/n but there was a suffix letter at the end. I had a D and got a B and all sorts of weird things happened. Got the correct number and all we good. Probably best to the complete regulator assy with motor and module.

Drivers window switch was bad. $126USD later I installed the new quad switch cluster and all is well again.
