Smile 07 3.2 Avant w/90K Cold idle stumbles & Timing Belt?

Cold start stumbling at idle goes away quickly; any ideas? And, when should I have the timing belt/water pump replaced? Is there a kit available?
Thanks!

Your car has a timing chain, not a belt

Talking WhooHoo! Thanks!

That's great news; I can quit worrying about replacing the Timing Belt. You made my day!

Now, about that stumbling at idle just when starting it cold. Could it be plugs? The last (independent but very Audi savvy) service said the plugs were in good shape. Should I start there? Is it a tough job to replace the six plugs; special tools or knowledge?
