Hi all,
Just got my baby about a week ago and got a good deal on some RS6 replicas, but i cant decide between 18" or 19", I've heard that larger wheels compromises the ride quality, how true is this also what would be the optimum tire size in each case as not to screw with the speedo... any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

19 would compromise ride quality...but they would look better then 18's IMO. This site is useful in comparing your stock size to the size you want on there...http://1010wheels.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

 

I have 18's. Ride quality is down, but not significantly, since the tires I got (Kumho AST) were actually quieter than my old ones. Traded some bumpiness for noise, no big deal. Doesnt even require lowering to look right on 225/40/18. I hear 19's are a pretty big step down in ride quality.

thanx for the info guys, much appreciated...i've decided to go with 18s and 225/40/18, and using the tire size calculator, theres only a 0.84% variance in speedo accuracy..not too bad
