18 inch wheel upgrade?

I thinking of changing out the original wheels with RS4 wheels, if possible. What tire sizes would work with 2001? Also what tires are great for all weather, I live in Vegas but often drive upto Oregon?

My a6 has 16 inch orignal wheels. I bought some 19 inchers at first and they turned out to be junk. All were bent after having them on the car for 1 week. I returned those and bought some nice 17 inch BBS. The bigger your wheel the lower the profile of the tire, and the greater the chance you will bend a rim. The owner of a local alingment shop, guy used to race Audi's and is well respected, told me he wouldnt go over 17 inches. He said his reasons were increased weight, decrease in handling, and more likely to bend a rim. Wish I had talked to him before I ran out and bought wheels.
