02A6Beau, i am beginning to think (and hope) that you are correct in that you said about the smoke being residual stuff leftover from before the oil cooler was changed because the car has stopped smoking. The smoke was bluish and had a burnt smell. I am happy it has stopped because now i don't need to put my hand down there by the exhaust and then taste the residue on my hand.
