I'll get the complete list on Monday, but was told the cams need to be replaced, and the engine block has coolant in it that needs to be flushed.

There is probably more wrong with it but they estimated the fix at $3500. I owe $3700 on the car and am choosing not to fix it.

I know very little about parts and all that but does anybody have any idea what parts would be most valuable or sought after? Anybody need any parts let me know.

sorry i just read the rules,

Its a 2000 A6 2.7T quattro, with 172,000 miles. Dont know service record right off the top of my head.

I'd be interested in the front "2.7 Biturbo" engine cover if it has all the clips. My rear clip is broken. Maybe also the plastic battery cover. Email me at jjaiven@chartermi.net

 

Without the engine, you probably can't get the $3700 that you owe on it by parting it out (I have parted out 8 cars so I have a rough idea of what I am talking about). You would be better off buying and installing a used engine and then selling the car.
