Default 2000 A6 Avant rear rotors and pads

Is there anything tricky about changing rear rotors and pads on the 2000
A6 Avant?

You need a tool to turn and press the piston at the same time. Other than that, make sure to get the correct rotors. There are 3 different types on A6. I believe all US spec avants came with 255 mm diameter rotors; however, there are 2 different varieties of 255 mm rotors. One has 43.85mm hat height, and the other has 37.85mm hat height. One way to figure out is to call a dealer with your VIN, and the other is to take the wheel off and measure.
