i have a 2001 audi a6 2.7t 6speed i droped off my car at a place calledEPL located in stratford ct my car is bone stock except for a drop in k&n i have been searching around for about a month to see what flash gets me the most power looked like giac was the onethey callfor about 60 to 70 hp to the crank which isnt bad with a 90 to 100lbs tq to the crank but when i spoke to the owner tony of epl he told me he can get me more power than any chip or flash for either the same price or mabe even a little cheaper so to make a long story short he flashed my car and also fine tuned it when i saw the results i was amazed stock my car made 200hpand 225tq to the wheels now it makes 275hp and 334tq to the wheels it was the best$585 i have ever spent so if anyone is looking to get a tune or a flash with a little tune he is the man to see his name is tony and his # is 2033456499

Have you taken precautions to protect your turbos now that you're driving them harder? Things to consider:
- 710N diverter valves to replace stock
- Samco Throttle Body Boot or APR Bipipe
- Samco F-hose (if you are pre-2001.5)

These measures can all act as important preventative maintenance against part failure that would endager the life of your tubos. www.purems.com and www.ecstuning.com are places that carry and explain the value of these parts in greater detail.

 

Could you give me the shops full name? I am from Massachusetts and I would like to get a nice tune up plus a flash for my computer.

Also, what did this tune up consist of? And I believe the 2.7T have 250horse power stock, so in reality you now have 325hp.

It is a private shop it picked up 70hp to the wheels which would prob be about 90hp to the crank and its not a tune up its a reflash with a little custome tuning to the flash to get more hp the web site is http://eplabs.net/he is a very easy going gut that know's his stuff

 

Is this basically like getting the GIAC chip?? Or would the GIAC chip give you additional power and torque?

and ho wdo you know ho wmuch HP you picked up? Curious.. Im in NY... Did you dyno it?

 

they do a before and after dyno so you know your real wheel hp and tq

 

thats sick.. jsut the dybo is worth $100 or so.. i might have to roll up there one day SOON... maybe ill buy a car first
