looking for advice on what I should look for on the price and other tell tale signs of stuff to go wrong...or anything for that matter. Thanks.

Find out if timing belt was done.
I would be worried about the turbos at that millage.
Also control arms tend to fail by this time. Check out if transmission is ok.
Take it for test drive and see how it is.
