How does the Benz compare to the A6 2.7T and 4.2?

Ok

1) What made me buy and Audi over a BMW is Audi as far as I know dosent need any serious special factory tools just to work on them. The Benz and Bimmers do. To me Audi is a really overpriced VW so so since I owned VW's I figured parts are about the same and well My 96 A6 is dam easy to work on, I love it. I could only imagine the nightmares of working on the Benz.

2) The Benz you are refuring to is nice but ( I belive its the style with the verticly round lights before they changed to the more sleek and layed back version) and well it looks like an really old man's car with just class, no sport.. The Audi has style and class with a sporty look.

Thats my take on it.

The new E class looks way better than the old one. The old one is so boring. There's no competition in that comparison. The A6 is much more sporty and looks so much better.
