I wondering if problem can be caused by a bad cam chain tensioner on bank 1, or related cam chain parts. Maybe skipped tooth on intake cam???
Timing belt keeps exhaust cams timed with crank. Cam chain keeps intake cams timed to exhaust cams. If something goes bad on cam chain system, it could have intake open at wrong time, leading to misfires & loss of compression (or worse). In your 1st posting you said "removed Timing covers and engine is in time". Are you sure?
When crank pulley aligned to TDC mark this is # 3 cyl @ TDC. With valve cover removed, you should be able to see notch on both intake & exhaust cam chain sprockets. The notches should align with > arrow mark. Without having the front end torn down to install cam lock bar, it's possible you may have to rotate the crank another 360 deg to have cam marks align. If exhaust cam mark aligns but intake marks don't, then that points to the camchain system.

Thread #46 shows pic of cam notch alignments.
