2003 A6 3.0L 02 Sensor Removal

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how to remove a bank1 sensor 1 02 sensor for an a6 3.0? Is it located on the passenger side? Is it the same as the DIY for the 2.8L I saw posted?

Could someone please help me with this. Pictures for the 3.0L location and removal of the 02 sensor would be very much appreciated.

Thanks guys.

PS: I'm getting an error code P0030, which the VAG came back as an H02 Sensor bank1 sensor1, im assuming that this is an 02 sensor code.

Its nothing like the 2.8L, you won't be able to get the before cat O2 sensor out with conventional tools. Its gonna be on the passenger's side almost right at the back of the cylinder head, you have to feel around the back of the head to feel it. The after cat O2 sensor is really close to the before cat one, which is mounted in the center of the cat.
I would take it to a shop, save yourself from some pain.
