2003 A6 Brake options
So my warning light just came on this weekend for my brakes. Of course it had to the same weekend that my A/C failed but thats another thread.
So I have been calling around. Of course Audi only recommends using their OEM versions but the price is so blasted high.
What does everyone on here recommend? I will be needing new pads and rotors. Should I go to a ceramic pad? I really hate the brake dust on my wheels? Audi recommends a semi-metallic?

As far as pads, I would recommend EBC Redstuff pads. I used them on my BMW M6 and am very pleased with the lack of brake dust and their aggressive stopping power. They're an inbetween blend of track and street pads at a reasonable price.

Just pick up a pair of slotted and zinc coated rotors off of ebay and the best set of pads Autozone sells for your model (it will be metallic if the OEM part was metallic). Bleed the brake fluid with DOT 4 fluid and you will be good to go, have a smile on your face, and cash in your pocket. Autozone will even loan you the caliper tool you will need to push in the pistons.

HI New to forum... Having a problem with the ABS Contol module. The problem is that the car didn't have one in it when I bought the car. So...how can I get the correct Bosch ABS Control module part # for this exact car? Any help would be appreciated.
