I took it in (with 1 day on my warrenty left!) and the tech found the problem. Looks like it was a faulty brake sensor module. Vag-Com report showed "error, brake sensor - intermittent". Basically, it thought I was hitting the brake when I was not, thus cutting the throttle. They replaced it and so far so good. Thanks for everyone's help!
