2004 C6 - General issues
Evening folks.
Seen a A6 C6 Sunburn orange colour 2.0TDI, looks really nice, currently mileage is sitting at 155k for £1650, looking at the service history book it has 6 stamps approx. every 30k at a local Audi garage.
Anyway before purchasing i have noticed that a common issue is the
Oil Pump Drive - Does this affect the 2.0TDI on the A6?
Service History doesn't mention of timing belt change, are these belts or chains?
I've been told to get either a 1.9 or 2.7 but neither are close or cheap.
How much would a Belt/chain cost to replace?
How much would the Oil Pump Drive cost to replace if it needs to be done?
Are the engines reliable enough?
