2006 a6 2.0 s-line
Hi Guys,
I just bought a 2006 A6 touring 2.0 diesel s-line. Love the car BUT wife can't travel in it. I know, normally that is not an issue but I need some advise.
Several years ago she damaged (broke) her neck. She can only travel about 15 miles in the car before her neck starts to hurt. Do you have any suggestions what I can do to the car i.e change suspension, wheels (currently on low profiles) The next step, in her opinion, is changing the car. Needless to say that won't be happening so, anyone know a good divorce lawyer
Thanks

Is it the upright position that bothers her period, or is the stiffness of the car's suspension itself?
If she can't take more than 15 mins in an Audi, I doubt she will take any much more than that in any car. However, you can change to a "touring" style strut + "original" height tire ( new wheels).
She can also help herself by wearing a padded neck brace.
good luck

I feel for her. I have 6 screws, 3 rods, and 2 cages in my back and found this Audi as one of two cars I can actually drive for any length of time (the other is a '96 Aerostar cargo van, I love the ride). Do I hurt? Yes, all the damn time. Does driving make it worse, definitely. Any car will hurt to some extend as she prolly knows all to well. The S-line is prolly just too stiff to be really expectable. She needs more of a 'touring' class suspension.
