2006 A6 3.2 — Spark plug connector tools, lift points, and manual
I have a 2006 A6 with the 3.2 engine. I don't know the correct terminology, but it has spark plug wire connections that are new to me, and apparently there are coils down those holes, too.
I encountered, and have since lost the link, a site listing special tools for removing or disconnecting those parts. Do I need such tools, and if so, what is the best source?
I normally work on trucks. Most of my floor jacks won't even fit under this car, and my jack stands are too tall. I need to explore lift points more, but it appears as if it may be difficult to raise this with all four wheels off the ground. Any experience here on how you are doing that?
Is the electronic service manual the only kind available? Do you have a thought on a best source, or alternative?
Thank you. I love this car.
