2006 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2 - Adaptive air suspension
Made it through the winter fine.
But yesterday, rear was all the way down.
In the past: VAGcom, module 34, clear codes, run output test (runs the compressor), then security login (31564) and adaption to bring up the car again.
Tried the above, but no luck.
cleaned all the connectors at the compressor, valve block, etc, dielectric grease.
Took the cover off the ECU box (passenger side engine bay, close to windshield). Found water standing in bottom of box, and relays, fuses corroded. Cleaned contact, put new fuses (40A and 50A) and new relay (40 amp) in, dielectric grease.
Erased codes. Only code coming back:
01437 - Control Position not Learned
005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation - MIL ON
Tried procedure above again. But during output test, "lower front left", "lower front right" do NOT result in lowering (front is not (yet) all the down, only rear), and response is "test ok".
Yet, when trying the adaption (after security login), going to channel 1, the 'wait' never goes to 'low level', then 'high level', but times out with error.
What else can I check, try, verify?

connected another compressor temp sensor for testing. Both show around 16-17 deg (C).
BUT, the 2nd temp reading (the first one in group 6) always shows 80 deg (C), blinking and never changing.
What is that temp indicating? What sensor feeds it?
Photo of group 6 values (6/2 is changing when plugging compressor temp sensor in/out, -40C unplugged):

In VAGcom (level control module 34), it shows 2 temperature fields in the measuring blocks.
The 2nd one appears to be the temp sensor on the compressor (unplug, reading goes to -040C).
The 1st field on my car consistently shows 80 deg C. What sensor is field 1 showing? Maybe if this one is bad/erratic/showing wrong values, the system prevents me from 'restarting' (output test, adaption)?
