It is behind the glove compartment....

Take that out, and you will see a small hatch on the A/C unit, remove the hatch and pull out one filter, then pull the second filter down and out.

I saw the ac on the left, when I had the glove box out. I removed the vent to the floor in front of it but could not see any filter anywhere. I could see what I think is the condensor. It was a radiator looking thing. Any more thoughts?

Thanks
Ron

It's a small plastic-hatch fitted with one bolt at the bottom, and a hinge on top.

It's towards the front of the car, a bit high up and really awkward to get to....

You do not need to remove anything else then the glove-compartment...

You don't need to remove the glove cmopartment, just pull down the panel under the glove box. If its never been done you will have to rip the seal (tape basically) then you can reach up and remove the little plastic door thats in the way. Flip that out of the way and the filters are stacked on top of each other. Make sure to install the new filters in the correct direction.

Should be the same on both sedan and avant.

I wasn't aware it could be done without removing the glove compartment, but i believe it is easier if you do not know excatly where the hatch is....

I changed mine when the car had 110k Km on it, and it was needed.... Not the first time it was changed either, who ever did it the last time put them in the wrong way.
