2007 TDI Auto - Engine shaking & blue/white smoke
 

Audi A6 1.9 Avant tdi 2007 auto, smoking white/blue smelly smoke from the exhaust, engine shaking when car is stationary. who can help please.

blue smoke indicates oil burning, white smoke indicates coolant is burning.

1) Pull you plugs, do you see oil on them?
2) do you have ANY overheating issues?
3) Pull codes
4) Report back

thanks for your help, the car is currently with the mechanic, I will tell him to check what you have mentioned.
Although the mechanic has already done the following on the car without any success:
new EGR valve
new cam belt kit/cam timing
injector tested OK
changed fuel
I have spent a lot on the car with the mechanic changing the wrong part because is not coming up with any code
when idle bad inlet flap is ratcheting back and forth and exhaust gases are noticeable at turbo connection when removed.

sounds like this guy doesn't know how to work on an Audi, I'd suggest taking it to a real audi mechanic
