2010 A6 Sport Package
I'm thinking about ordering the 2010 A6 with sport package, but don't know whether to get the 18in or 19in wheels. Any advice? Also, can you run all seasons on the 19s? Has anyone seen the Aventurine Blue in person, how does it look?

Wheel Size
Hi, I fell this is just a matter of personal preference...deciding whether or not you prefer 18" to 19" wheels. You should keep in mind that the larger wheels usually do affect ride quality in a negative way. When there is less sidewall on your tires, the ride tends to be more jarring or harsh. These larger wheels are also easier bent if you drive in areas with less than pefect roads. And last unless your just independently wealthy, when the time comes to replace the tires, the larger sizes tend to be a bit more expensive and may not offer much more in regards to tread life.

I have the 19" wheels on my 2008 A6 Quattro and the ride quality is indeed harsher than the 18" wheels. You can switch to all seasons and an option like Pilot Sport A/S will give you better tread life vs. the summer sport tires. Look for tread wear ratings on the all seasons.
