230bhp or 250bhp ?

I am looking to buy a 2000 w reg a6 2.7T quattro avant and was woundering what bhp it would have the owner says its the 250bhp model but i thought they were 230bhp till 2001 am i right or wrong ?.

if its a quattro isn't it awhp that you really should look at? I thought that s4 and thus the a6 had 265 hp and made 258ft.lbs in 2001+

2003 2.7T rated at 250hp, S-line at 265 hp, and either chipped at ~318hp.
