2000 A6 2.7T running strong as a daily driver, but, it needed a new radiator, control arms, and brakse for $2,000 +/- so it was time to trade her in for a new car. But, new cars cost big bucks, and I found a 2001 A6 2.7 5 speed with 93K on her - so after 330,000 reliable miles - what would you do? Buy a new Audi for $50,000 or a 2001 Audi for $5,000? Yes, I am very much enjoying my new old car

 

My 1997 audi a4 1.8t quattro 5 spd just turned 304,000 miles and still runs strong as ever, just replaced 2 control arms, tune up, flex pipe, and turn signal switch down recently. original motor and trans runs and shifts smooth. all in all great cars expensive to fix but well worth it.
