Looking to buy an Audi wagon(2001-) and I see that some models have the 3rd row rear seats. I cannot find a reference to list the year and model Audi that offer the 3rd row seating. Is it just the Allroads that have this feature? Will someone please supply the years and models that have the option for the 3rd row seating?

You might find the info you want on Audiworld. Third row seating was standard on some years and an option on others. My 97 Avant has the third row seats. And I have seen where guys like Force Five in Concord NH lists used third row seat option at times.

 

They should call that glorified back support something like "children third row seating".
I wonder how long can a tall and skinny adult (not heavier than 80 lbs) ride with the knees to their chest without feeling any discomfort?

 

it is a great place for the mother-in-law. One look and she'll stay at home.
